The action sequences look kind of wack but I'm hoping that somehow the overall movie turns out well.
My mind wonders...what if Ziyi Zhang (Crouch Tiger, Hidden Dragon) had been cast as Chun Li? The emotion she brings to her roles is superb. It's something about her eyes.

Happy New Year! I'm glad to see that God blessed you to see 2009. I'm hoping the The Legend of Chun Li will be great! I'm so hoping that it will be better than Van Damme's Street Fighter from back in 1994. I thought it was awful. My brother and I had to play the game for hours to try to wash that awful movie out of our minds. Well, if this one stinks too, I guess I can use Street Fighter IV the game to help me get over it...that and a lot of prayer.

Yeah, I hope this movie will be good, but something about the trailer just doesn't seem interesting. I can't say that I am excited about Street Fighter anymore because of that first foray.
you're right. Ziyi would've been badass. but i have my fingers crossed that kristen won't screw it up.
Sadly this movie was a hotmess that was was eclipsed by the previous Street Fighter Flick in my opinion. The fight Scenes were horrible along with the acting which is odd considering how serious they tried to make the film seem. At least the original movie didn't take itself too seriously and had decent fight scenes. On a random note I came across this blog looking up stuff on Star Trek and to my surprise I stumble across a blog by a sister in the faith that digs Sci Fi. I was floored. lol. Grace and Peace
