Being a spiritual person, a Christian, the last episode of Battlestar Galactica made me remember just how vast our universe is. There's so much we don't know, so much history behind us and an endless tale before us. But at the same time we're able to hold onto what we do know and somehow etch out purpose and find meaning.
As for the show itself, the series finale was a brilliant piece of science fiction television. The characters I've grown to like said their farewells in a way that kept true to the tone of the show. That meant lots of bittersweet moments.
This is my quick reflection after watching the final episode and I'll eventually write a more detailed analysis/review on what made Battlestar Galactica so special.

BSG is frakking amazing!!

I was getting annoyed with BSG, but I must admit the final episode worked. It tied up a lot of loose ends and gave the characters dignity. As usual, the special effects were great.

Nice science fiction blog. Let me share a bit of my thoughts.
Finding GOD in science fiction has been an intriguing topic for many-many people, sci-fi fans and religious nuts alike.
But as a different kind of ‘nut’, I consider my relationship with GOD very personal and intimate, and my life’s passion is to bring an epic science fiction story based on the Bible and our current mapping of future history.
About technology racing faster than our social maturity. BSG brings good message about how we should treat our future potential.
GOD created life and mankind. Mankind, in its intelligence and wisdom may someday create sentient life, imitating mankind’s creator. What matters most is how we treat our creations.
The production crew of BSG treat this wonderful television series with respect (and perhaps reverence), and I applaud Ron Moore’s creative direction of this series. The darkness in the story was necessary to establish the premise, and the ending was justly done.
Long before BSG we had Star Trek, which carry the message of a futuristic utopia where mankind overcame its racial differences and explore the final frontier while being peaceful and tolerant.
Star Wars brought a wonderful space fantasy story of good vs evil, about prophecies and redemption, and was wrapped in a lot of Eastern mysticism.
Battlestar Galactica, brings a powerful message about technology, about our past sins and how we overcome our inner darkness and bring the best out of humanity, as well the grace of the higher power bringing the humanity and humanoid Cylons to a brighter future together.

A satisfying resolution, which also allowed us to find some initial answers to several questions.
Having recently watched the Pilot to Caprica and heard a few rumors regarding the movie, 'The Plan', there's clearly more to unpack, so many thanks to Ronald Moore and team for a great beginning!

I have seen all episodes of Battlestar Galactica TV show. Its one of the best show. And the plot of the show is totally great.
Battlestar Galactica is one of the finest show we have today. Its wonderful series. I have seen this show several times on net and did not miss even a single Episode of Battlestar Galactica.
